The Value of History
Lawrence County, Pennsylvania is decorated with historic homes, buildings, and other landmarks. Together we can work on the preservation of the County's historic, architectural gems.
ABOUT LCPP
Our Formation:
LCPP is committed to educating and assisting the community in the preservation and promotion of the history, architecture, and economic prosperity of Lawrence County. Per founding member and past President Joseph Goodge, "the objectives of LCPP include preserving historic landmarks and architecture, promoting the economic value and importance of Lawrence County’s history, enhancing and improving the image of the county, and recognizing individuals, businesses and municipalities for their efforts to preserve the history, architecture and character of the county."
Our Library and Resource Center provides important architectural and historical information, guidance and research materials to the public. We also offer services such as Community Workshops, Site Evaluations, Restoration and Rehabilitation Consulting.
Lawrence County Partners for Preservation is a 501c3 non-profit organization.

Our new property at
111 E. Lincoln Ave, New Castle
is in the midst of a restoration and will be fully renovated over time. At this moment, we are pleased to announce the opening of our Special Library which will accommodate our collection of research and reference material for use by individuals seeking information and consultation related to architectural and preservation options and opportunities in Lawrence County.
